My New Bank Account

not wanting to continue with the occasional borrowing of family members cards for the rare necessary online purchase, i've broken down and acquired a bank account.

this is shaky territory for me.

i haven't had a bank account for about five years. about that same period of time during which, from late 2001 and on, i've been involved in the legal efforts discussed in jbhFILE.com.

bank accounts and especially their associated debit cards are totally vulnerable to misuse and especially dangerous to have laying around when there's a local and federal investigation intent on manipulating facts to achieve personal gain.

in other words, checking accounts leave a person wide open to wrongful incrimination.

regardless, with a few hard usage rules set and with such rules made public, the chances of misuse will be greatly diminished. and if such misuse still occurs, i'll at least have the beginnings of an argumentative base in my own defense.

regarding misuse and considering the types of experience i've seen in the past, the most probable sort of misuse would be for an operative within the investigation, either officially or even an informant, to swipe the card number and then use it, of course, to sign up for some sort of online pay-for-porn site; this is the most obvious sort of misuse and it's already been attempted in the past only the charges were applied to my father's company checking account.

speaking of my father's account ... he's recently seen even more fraudulent charges made to his account, this time purchasing women's underwear (!!!) and apparently the charges were made the very same day i personally borrowed his card to make an online computer hardware purchase.

anyway, and speaking specifically of my new checking account, other sorts of charges to my personal account could also include: purchases of sex toys and/or other erotica, purchases of women's clothes, etc., signing up for dating services, or anything else, generally, which would include a tack towards sexual content.

those things considered, here's the conditions i've set for myself and the usage of my new personal checking account:

1. the checking account will always have a balance of $1.00 to $3.00 in it. (this cuts down on the chances of any purchases being made without my knowledge).

2. the only time money totaling over $1.00 to $3.00 will be introduced to the account is when i have a specific and exceptional need to purchase something online. in such a case i will deposit to my checking account, exactly that amount necessary for the purchase; secondly, i will then transfer that exact amount to my pay pal account and finally, make the purchase using pay pal. upon completion of that process, my checking account should be left with only $1.00 to $3.00 in it.

3. i will never make any online purchase with my checking account/debit account directly; i will always first transfer the necessary funds to my pay pal account and make the final purchase via pay pal.

(tedious, i know, but if you'd been through what i've been through ...)

anyway ... the importance of this blog entry can't be emphasized enough. *the* number one tool in the hands of those investigators wishing to end the investigation on their terms is wrongful incrimination.

as discussed in the 'anatomy of a setup' section of jbhFILE.com, the incrimination MUST include online activity and it MUST give rise to questions of sexual deviance and/or confusion.

a checking account makes all sorts of such incrimination attempts more easily realized and therefore my need to publicly discuss something so trivial as ... yes ... the obtaining of a personal checking account.
