"Santos," our chosen contractor for hurricane damage repairs, arrived and began his work today.
As with everything to follow, I'm posting this here to indicate my daily responsibilities within our shared household (JOEL/DAD).
Also, to keep a video/photo log of the work since Santos has already found obviously and badly damaged/antiquated woodwork underlying the new facia (hardy plank) material that he is to install.
As per DAD's instruction, I told Santos to replace/repair whatever he found along the way when replacing the facia necessary to fulfill the contract (massively rotting wood under the structure material, for instance, as shown in the photos/videos below).
All of the following is archived and secured on a redundant cloud server and local RAID array; all are presented to DAD in a properly formatted form (printouts/links to this post/etc.):
