Phone call from TOMMY to pick him up at shop around 11am so that he could bring his Audi up to shop to do work on it (rotate tires/etc.)
Second phone call from TOMMY around noon letting me know he was bringing his Audi back, too big to work on in garage. And that he’d need a ride back to shop. Gave TOMMY ride back to shop after he brought Audi to the house.
Per TOMMY instruction created $XXXX.XX cash register invoice to cover a recent deposit that needed invoice-description in Quickbooks; made note to contact ACCT to inform of somewhat unusual process
TOMMY request to review random Insight Software data breach notification to determine if it is of consequence; determined data breach was non consequential and left note on TOMMY desk informing of such (no financial, tax or medical information breached)
TOMMY request to fix email on persona HTIRE laptop. Login was throwing it’s usual, monthly verification. Email logins are generally automized with browser keeping track of the password for subsequent logins but Yahoo and other similar providers will enforce a routine check despite browser password managers as a matter of protocol.
Logged on to TOMMY personal travel/work laptop and changed his password to something more recollectable than the random string of cryptic characters it had been for over a year;
Verified new TOMMY yahoo email login information and functionality of browser
Printed two TOMMY small yahoo email login info strips with his login name and the current password. Laminated both email login strips. Left one strip on TOMMY desk with note that he could keep it in his wallet.
Taped second laminated TOMMY email password info strip face down on free space up top of his laptop near keyboard with a note to “FLIP UP” so that he could flip the note up any time he’s at his laptop and see his login name and password for future security checks by yahoo’s email system.
