Back in April of '07, I published an article discussing a certain friend who is known by myself and others to be involved as an informant in the investigation.
The particular informant role that this certain friend (and his immediate family) has served though, is a bit atypical.
They operate as informants, information gatherers and possibly conspirators in what they might feel to be 'benign' sorts of manipulations in what could only described within the context of a terms such as 'caring informant,' or 'concerned informant.'
Which is to say that for the most part, they believe that I would somehow benefit from the investigators getting their way, "it's for his own good," or, "he'll be much happier this way." Or, concerning the rather obsessed nature of those behind the investigation to get their way (control issues, etc.), "Everyone involved will be happier this way."
Also important to note is that this is one of those families which I became acquainted with as a teenager when I was put into treatment by my parents for drug addiction.
They are what you might call career 'therapy people,' or 'recovery people.'
No offense to them, but they are the sort of persons who funnel all daily life through the prism of their indoctrination in popular 12 step mythology and even worse, popular psychological mythologies.
As opposed to seeing the world through a lens of personal responsibility and proper regard for self, they see a world full of person's acting out, in more or less degrees, depending on any person's set of given "issues."
So, as informants to the investigation, they might say, "Since he drinks, and since the investigators say these things about him and since we want him back with us and a part of our circles, ... well then, we'll just consider the actions of the investigation against him to be for his own good."
Or better yet, "Being forced into psychotherapeutic processes, labeled mentally ill, forcibly associated with illicit or questionable property, covertly drugged, forced to move out of his home, forced to take on new employment closer to our mutual processes will hurt nothing in the end but his pride."
Or something like that.
But, Why?
Anyway, as mentioned in my previous article entitled "Friend Informants, Why?" it has been known to me that the investigators have been attempting to manufacture events in this particular acquaintances life which could be said to somewhat parallel the events of my own past five years.
Of course, this is a willing operation on both his and the investigator's part and is certainly not something that is happening without his knowledge.
This, of course, so that when and if any final event against me is staged, should planted evidence of some kind be found on my property or should I be forced to take part in some inane interrogation/therapy/psychiatric evaluation process, then this historically significant friend and family can be brought in to sugar coat the arguments geared towards my being mentally ill or a drug addict (much less a home invader, stalker, computer criminal or potential future sex offender).
By sugar coat, I mean them coming in to say, "See ... these sorts of things have been happening in *our* son's life too!" Or, any of the other types of ideas expressed in my original article. See that article as an introduction to the rest of this text.
Gauging the Possibilities
Therfore, it has become my habit to at least casually note any of the somewhat dramatic and preposterous events which have unfolded in this particular person's life as possible indicators of the type of actions which might ultimately be leveled against me.
Not like obsessively or anything, but at least responsibly.
As said, I have it on the good faith of mutual friends of ours that he and his immediate family are operating as informants to the investigation; that considered, my not paying attention to these somewhat dramatic and questionably legitimate events in his life would be downright irresponsible of me.
Besides the fact that, as much as I love them both, they really are somewhat infected by the 12 stepper disease that seems to create the need to view life through a prism of "issues."
As discussed in the first "Friend Informants" article, if I am to be forced into an environment totally controlled by the investigation's psych-wing, then there would have to be some catalyzing event which would give the legal system jurisdiction over my immediate future: drugs planted and found on my person or in my house, a home invasion by authorites that yields suspicious property obviously not my own, or even some sort of digital contraband being planted on my digital media storage devices.
I refer to this catalyzing event as a "Detonation Event," or, the event which is necessary for all other desires of the investigators to be met: long term psychoanalysis, forced medication, hypnotherapy (you chose your flavor) and you can read more about the objectives of the psych-wing of the investigation at my main website.
Harm to Himself or Others?
You may recall that this certain friend recently (last three months or so) accidentally shot himself through the groin and buttock, *supposedly* trying to wrestle his gun away from a friend. Of course, while doing drugs and drinking and what not.
It was shortly after he relayed this somewhat unbelievable set of events to me that I began thinking it might be good to casually note these events here on the chance they could be of the 'sugar coating' variety I mention above. That was back in April, when I authored the first Friend Informants blog article.
I mean, things just didn't seem right about it. He shoots himself through the testicles and the bullet exits his buttock ... and he's back at work at a construction site walking around two days later. I just didn't buy it. That would yield some major tissue damage to those regions and I'm sure anyone actually experiencing that would be bed ridden for a weeks (at least a wheel chair). But he was up and working like it was nothing.
So since I know the investigators have surveillance of myself, from back around the 1999 time frame, having fun and playing with a pistol I had at the time, and since I know they desire to create an image of myself as potentially harmful to myself or others, then I immediately began to be suspect of the whole gun thing this certain friend was suddenly involving himself with.
(for the record, that was the only period in which I had actually had a gun; borrowed from a family member and which I kept around a new flat I had leased in a rough part of town. I have owned no such weapon since and nor do I now; that particular piece of equipment has long since been returned to the family member it was initially borrowed from.)
Point is, were I to somehow be wrongfully incriminated around guns then here would be a close friend and his family to come in and corroborate that he had been having the same issues/problems and so lets all work it out together in therapy why don't we? Etc. Etc.
Again...sort of sugarcoating or 'lubricating,' if you will, the proceedings towards a certain region of acceptability.
All hypothetical of course, but I thought it worth penning an article.
The Latest Drama
Reportedly, a week or two ago and as this friend conveyed to me yesterday, the local Houston police and SWAT entered his apartment without warning and without a warrant, very late at night while he was sleeping.
He says they had been tipped off that he was a drug dealer and pimp and they were their to search his house and car.
This guy is definitely not a pimp (I mean he just had liposuction surgery for pete's sake), and he's certainly not a drug dealer. From what he claims, some girl in the same complex he lives in, who he owed money, got pissed and made up a bunch of lies and conveyed them to the police.
Sounds too good to be true, I know ... but it's true. Whether or not it was naturally occurring is up for grabs at this point, but it really did happen.
They emptied the entire apartment building and obtained a key from the property manager. Then just let themselves in while he was sleeping. No knock on the door, no warning, they just came in with shotguns and started rummaging about the place.
(It should already not be smelling right if you know anything about the legal system; and, it would really be smelling fishy if you knew this particular guy as well as I do)
Investigation Related?
The point of mentioning this in detail here is that this is exactly that type of event I describe in jbhFILE.com, which would be necessary not only to get me out of my current living environment, but more importantly, into one wholly owned by the investigation.
All it would take is for some planted contraband/evidence to be found during a search of my home.
So of course I feel the event is related to my own circumstances.
It would be impossible for me to prove such a thing, but that's beside the point. As discussed in a recent article at jbhfile.com, just because you can't prove something, doesn't make you crazy.
This is said primarily because I have it on good faith of others that he and his family are participating as informants. And second, because I know that to somehow tie me up in this person's life as a part of the 'recovery' process has been on the investigator's list of desirables for a long time.
Ultimately, this recovery process would have nothing to do with recovering either of us from anything but would be more so geared towards simply creating an environment under which the psych-wing of the investigation could satisfy it's curiousities.
This would probably involve putting us in some sort of half way house together, or some other alternative housing situation mandated by the legal system, where the real psycho-social fun would then commence in a completely unrestricted way.
All This Sound Far Fetched?
If you think the local authorities organizing such a mock home invasion/search is a bit far fetched, then think again!
Remember, my immediate family is basically a Houston Police Force family (as well as a Federal law enforcement family) since my dad's fiance' is the mother of a long time Houston Police officer in the NARC division.
Also remember, this winded travail has included community wide rumors of sexual predation, pedophilia, internet porn and god knows what else ... and there are, literally, law enforcement careers somewhat on the line when it comes to making these rumors seem legitimate and real insofar as their application to myself.
That said, knowing my father's finace' is well aware of the investigation and especially the rather notable and inflated egos that it involves, ... there is no way in hell that she would ever marry him unless this entire debacle surrounding me was ironed out.
And so, in some ways, certain person's are literally waiting for the hammer to fall so that they can see to things they are interested in seeing to but which they feel hampered in seeing to due to their proximity and role in the actions against myself.
So that considered, a ruse such as the one my friend described would be a piece of cake for a bunch of cops with time on their hands, especially if it was in the interest of making seem real the very fictional claims they had been pushing on communities for years regarding another person they were trying to bring charges against (like myself).
Furthermore, a mock home search like this is wonderful lubricant for the friction that would surely be created if similar actions were taken against me; especially once I started trying to discuss the preposterous nature of such events!
My above mentioned friend and his immediate caretakers would be right there to say, "Well, a similar thing just happened to xxxx, I mean ... what do you expect? You guys are drug addicts and need help. This is what happens to people who are living on Self Will Run Riot(tm), after all! Isn't it coincidental and fortunate that such long term friends find themselves in such similar straits so that they can help each other through it all!?"
Or some such pre-prescribed scripted nonsense. And I would be expected, in the interest of going-along-to-get-along, to just play right along with the ruse.
Ugh. Disgusting.
My Personal Living Situation
Is good.
I mean to say I'm pleased with the home I share with two co workers; our home is peaceful, quiet and rather private.
We all work long hours. And generally, during our off time, are home together. None of us really go out or socialize around the town and so ... it's nice.
Also, it's somewhat protected considering the nature of the past few years actions against my person discussed in jbhfile.com; that is to say, no way in hell could either of the two person's I live with be convinced to, say, covertly drug me with THC so a drug scan might seem to indicate I'm a pot smoker.
(That's sort of a low blow as I have it on good faith of others that the THC/pot angle is something the investigators are madly infatuated with in so far as wrongful incrimination of myself, both because many years ago I did smoke pot and two, because I wrote a flamingly scathing email recently to a lady in australia, letting her know exactly what I thought of her banal view on addiction as disease ... but that's for a later article).
Point is, those behind the investigation desperately want me out of this particular home and into an environment they own and control (a family members home, a half way house, etc.); anything but a nice home in a nice neighborhood with roommates that could never be persuaded to participate in the psychosocial madness.
It's really about control, when you get right down to it.
As I've written before, what's primarily driving the psych-wing of the investigation, is the pure and professional desire to see me isolated in circumstances outside of my control, to gauge my behaviors and actions around such, as well as the expected desire to discuss personal history and all (I mean, they're psych's for Freud's sake!).
For the investigators, the fact that eats at their brains is that they are unable to control another's life and the direction of that person's immediate days.
For myself, regarding my resistance to the same, it's simply a matter of sovereign choice.
But for them, I must say again, there really is a psychological hang up on needing control.
That's why the need to cast me in a criminal light is paramount. It is expected that sane and rational human beings, much less citizens, should fight to ensure their sovereignty and maintain personal control of their lives.
It's ironic that the very thing the psych-wing feels is my supposedly unhealthy motivation for resisting manipulation (desire to control my own life) is exactly the most injurious and unhealthy issue that they themselves are afflicted with (not being able to control another person's life) and really the basis for why the actions against my person continue.
It's truly good article material for Psychiatry Today. I might impersonate a psychiatrist and submit something later. :-)
About My Home
We live on a culdesac at the end of a very short street, so folks see everything around here.
To begin periodically entering our home in the interest of planting evidence or installing surveillance would be very difficult unless the authorities wanted to involve the whole street ... which isn't out of the question, but since I've been flying a www.jbhfile.com bumper sticker on my car for some time now, it might be sort of hard to convince folks to participate.
But don't forget the power of pedophile related rumors ... it's enough to sway even the most suspicious of neighbors into immediate support of an investigation.
So anyway, why I'm discussing my personal living situation is because that is the first thing the investigators desire to change.
They cannot get any of the many and published investigation objectives met without a change of my living space.
So a home search, bogus as it may be, such as the one my friend experiences is duly important to note as a perfect way to get the ball rolling towards a change of living spaces. All it would take is for them to find some planted evidence and it would be rolling.
Personal Property and Landlords
The above mentioned friend, who had his apartment raided by the local police, was also a week or so away from moving into a new condo with his son in law.
As it turns out, while the home search was going down and while they had him in a police car, the property manager from the new residence called and was told he was in the back seat of a police car (now who told this person that anyway?).
The property manager said he/she did not want him living there and so now he's staying in a hotel.
Funny thing is, the property manager for my own house is resigning next month and a new property manager is taking over our lease. Our current property manager has been the manager for about 12 years or so prior to my ever moving in, and with my current two roommates as tenants, and so we've all been on very good terms.
A new property manager taking over our house lease could mean several things...
Speaking hypothetically of course:
1. Absolutely nothing and it's just a normal process
2. Or, it could be a person close to the investigation who will make it easier for home invasions to occur.
3. Or, it could be in anticipation of trying to have me expelled from my own house.
Again, all hypothetical. But the subjects of refusal as tenant, home invasions, etc. are just a bit too coincidental with my personal circumstances at the moment to ignore.
Therefore, I thought it wise to write a bit.

Content Creation Tools

Having no tendency to store, create or otherwise traffic in such content, however ... the only way such questionable material might be associated with me would have been and would be to covertly copy it to some of my hardware or varioius media storage devices, be it hard drives or even digital cameras.
There was a period, in fact, some five or more years ago, when a certain acquaintence of mine (who I knew at that time to be involved in the investigation) actually *borrowed* my digital video camera, supposedly for an out of town shoot (he was in the content creation business himself) and my hunch at that time was that the authorities wanted to utilize that opportunity to generate some sort of questionable content which would later be attributed to me.
Regarding video cameras and even still digital cameras, the nature of such devices is that among their many image acquisition systems, be it lenses, print heads, etc. ... there is inevitably some portion of such device which leaves what could be called a digital fingerprint, if you will, on the captured media which via forensic processes can be linked absolutely back to the device that created it..."

A Unique Appeal
"If you've been reading my main website or my blog then you are aware that I have been waiting for over a year to hear the results for my latest FOIPA appeal. I've been sending status requests for months now and each and every letter has been answered the same, "The request is still in backlog and will take a few more weeks to see too," etc.
Well, as of June 26, 2007, the Department of Justice has officially decided to confirm the Federal Bureau of Investigations previous reply of 'null findings' to my most recent (well over a year ago) FOIPA request.
Although I have made many FOIPA requests in the past and subsequent Administrative Appeals associated with them, this latest administrative appeal nonetheless is somewhat outstanding due to it's exceptional content.

Computer work for "friends"
Friends ask me to help them with their computers almost on a weekly basis.
Not bragging, but I can generally fix, repair or remedy just about any problem occurring with computers or software; it's a fortunate by-product of sitting in front of and working with such systems/machines for over two decades.
Anyway, occasionally, persons I positively *know* are involved as informants in the investigation will ask me to assist them with repairing their computers ... installing a hard drive, curing a virus, etc.
I generally will oblige them, accept in the most ludicrously disadvantageous of such cases ... while always updating my various online Make Public Efforts(tm), of course.
Anyway ... this post is inspired by the fact that of late, for the past three weeks or so ... I've done a *LOT* of such pro bono side work for friends and family.
For the record ...
I keep track of any and all such side work involving friends, family and anyone else I assist with computer related repairs, at my regular website jbhFILE.com.
Check this section of my main site entitled Updates Regarding Computer Usage, where I keep a chronological list of such exceptional uses of computers.
Remember ... and no, you cannot read it enough ... the investigation that jbhFILE.com aims to make public (despite my ability to legally prove it exists), is absolutely and fanatically obsessed with the forceful involvement of myself with *any* sort of computer crime.
This obsession stems first and foremost from my role as system administrator of a certain computer bulletin board which dessimated information related to computer hacking ... but became even more political and inane after events unfolded while I was employed by a certain international financial institution.

jbhFILE.com @ Internet Archive!!
It's official ... and boy has it been a long wait ... my main website, www.jbhfile.com has finally been made available as a viewable archived website at the Library of Congress sponsored internet archival site, The Internet Archive!
The Internet Archive, literally, is an ongoing project to archive viewable versions, backwards through time, of every website on the internet. No small feat, to be sure.
Anyway, at the main www.archive.org website, look on the entry page and you will see a heading entitled, "The Way Back Machine," ... this is the search slot where you can type in any domain name, be it www.microsoft.com, www.datafilter.net or any other known URL and the Way Back Machine will call up an archive screen allowing you to browse instances of the site from any point in past time.
Pretty cool ...
For instance, here's a link to a search on the domain "www.netscape.com" ... click the link and the page will open showing the Internet Archives many time-based viewable instances of the site ... you can browse it all the way back to 1996 for pete's sake! So cool ...
You can do the same thing with "www.jbhfile.com", now ... and see it's past content as well!
For the time being, the archive bots have only posted a copy from Febuary 2007, but more browseable instances will be forthcoming.
The benefit of this to me should be obvious enough.
jbhFILE.com exists to make known an investigation of myself that absolutely intends to see itself ended (at the hands of the investigators, of course) in a manner that suits the desires, egos and wishes of the investigators. Therefore, my public broadcast of said investigation is really my only defense against wrongful incrimination ... even if not a gauranteed one at that.
So, should my site ever be taken down, there should remain a browseable version of the site's content at the internet archive ... in essence ... forever.
Should I ever be wrongfully incriminated around computer use (hacking, fraud or anything else the proverbial They(tm)can dream up, and should said incrimination involve an ultimate forfeiture of my computer usage right ... then it goes without saying that I would have to forfeit my domain as well ... and my website along with it. So it's a grain at least of comfort to know there would still be a viewable version available.
Considering the above worst case example ... the only way the site would become unavailable at the Internet Archive is if somebody purchased the jbhfile.com domain and then used a robots.txt file in the FTP root directory to expressly forbid archival to the Internet Archive ... but who in their right mind (other than me of course) want the domain jbhfile.com?
Anyway ... overall ... this is a positive development.

Anyway, at the main www.archive.org website, look on the entry page and you will see a heading entitled, "The Way Back Machine," ... this is the search slot where you can type in any domain name, be it www.microsoft.com, www.datafilter.net or any other known URL and the Way Back Machine will call up an archive screen allowing you to browse instances of the site from any point in past time.Pretty cool ...
For instance, here's a link to a search on the domain "www.netscape.com" ... click the link and the page will open showing the Internet Archives many time-based viewable instances of the site ... you can browse it all the way back to 1996 for pete's sake! So cool ...
You can do the same thing with "www.jbhfile.com", now ... and see it's past content as well!
For the time being, the archive bots have only posted a copy from Febuary 2007, but more browseable instances will be forthcoming.
The benefit of this to me should be obvious enough.
jbhFILE.com exists to make known an investigation of myself that absolutely intends to see itself ended (at the hands of the investigators, of course) in a manner that suits the desires, egos and wishes of the investigators. Therefore, my public broadcast of said investigation is really my only defense against wrongful incrimination ... even if not a gauranteed one at that.
So, should my site ever be taken down, there should remain a browseable version of the site's content at the internet archive ... in essence ... forever.
Should I ever be wrongfully incriminated around computer use (hacking, fraud or anything else the proverbial They(tm)can dream up, and should said incrimination involve an ultimate forfeiture of my computer usage right ... then it goes without saying that I would have to forfeit my domain as well ... and my website along with it. So it's a grain at least of comfort to know there would still be a viewable version available.
Considering the above worst case example ... the only way the site would become unavailable at the Internet Archive is if somebody purchased the jbhfile.com domain and then used a robots.txt file in the FTP root directory to expressly forbid archival to the Internet Archive ... but who in their right mind (other than me of course) want the domain jbhfile.com?
Anyway ... overall ... this is a positive development.

FOIPA Appeal Closed!
My most latest Administrative Appeal made to the U.S. Department of Justice (D.O.J.), as of yesterday, has been closed by the D.O.J.
A brief note ...
The Administrative Appeal process is a legal process wherein a citizen can personally seek administrative oversight regarding a previous Freedom of Information (FOIPA) request which produced data incommensurate with the requesters expectations (in my case this would be, of course, null findings regarding any existing records of myself as a person of interest).
I have been through the Administrative Appeal process many times in the past five years or so ... just check the legal actions log at my main site; furthermore, this is the first time in the history of my seeking data from federal agencies, that the appeal process has taken more than a month ... much less a full year!
Anyway ...
I'm simply going to post a copy of the letter here on my blog and will author a more lengthy and descriptive article which will be published at my main website: http://www.jbhfile.com
As with the FOIPA request that initially required that I file this most recent and very winded Administrative Appeal process, there are some interesting aspects to the particular language and choice of words used by the responder ... I'll discuss the unique nature of this particular appeal in the final article published to jbhfile.com

Contract Web Client - 6/15/07 **Update**
As mentioned of late, I have recently completed the preliminary design of a two page client website.
This is yet another update regarding the process of this job:
6/15/07: 1:10pm
I just got off the phone with the Vice President of the particular company I have been employed by, one "Robert Pxxxx;" I called seeking to discuss the job with my regular contact there but he was apparently out of the office.
Robert informed me that he knew nothing about the website project and so I simply requested that he tell my regular contact that I had called.
On my part, the work has been completed for about three weeks now and my repeated calls/emails have, for the most part, been ignored by the client.
What is strange about this is that the client was very gung ho at first to have a site built but as soon as I had finished the work ... and especially once I began updating my various witnesses and my online sites regarding this work ... the client then became somewhat disinterested.
Anyway, for the record, it's not a concern of mine really if the client wants to complete the arrangement or not ... I mean ... it's a very small job that really only took up about four evenings to complete.
On the other hand, however ... it would be nice to have some more published work online and so I will be continuing to seek closure.

Some Thought's on more Negative Possibilities
Say this client is under the employ of the investigation ...
Imagine then that the ultimate plan on the part of the investigators is to somehow deface or otherwise molest or use the client website and domain in a way not encompassed by the standard client/provider relationship and in a way that made *me* look like the perpetrator!
As a motive, such seemingly apparent actions could have as a basis either calculated or random outburst on my part ... or perhaps it would be staged to appear as though I acted on impulse and out of rage for some reason (say, like having to wait months to get paid), or perhaps the argument would be (as I've indicated in the past) that I did the thing while blacked out and on drugs or alcohol.
The possibilities are endless, really and the above comments are strictly hypothetical ...
Some Examples
And insofar as the types of actions the local investigators might attempt to apply to my person regarding this website and it's respective FTP server?
One example of such mis-use might be, sabotaging the clients website with vulgarities or otherwise text content...
Another possible wrongful incrimination could be one which created the appearance of my using the server space on their FTP server to store illicit or illegal digital content (even legal but lewd content would serve the investigators purposes in this). Another known favorite device of the investigators is pirated software ...
Even website hacking or launching of denial of service attacks could be employed as an incrimination vehicle (it's happened before and was well documented).
Regarding this last example, the investigators could rig some sort of outgoing hack code that would operate from this client's FTP server and 'apparently' at my discretion as a remote controller of such software/code; this sort of code could be placed as a discreet file within the FTP server or some of my work could be hacked to include it alongside the code that I wrote.
And for ALL of the above mentioned examples, ... a final and necessary event would be the need to apprehend my equipment and plant the necessary evidence on my machine to back up the investigators claims; this of course is usually accomlished either with a search warrant or a battering ram, whichever suits the circumstance I think.
:-)
But for any sort of legal action to succeed ... there would have to be some sort of corruption of my personal equipment at the hands of the investigators ... and to do this, the machine and it's contents would have to be at their disposal (arguably, this could be done remotely as well ... or someone could infiltrate my home and see to this discreetly while myself and roomates were away)
...
So that was a bit of an extended voyage into the Land of Hypotheticals(tm), hope the trip wasn't too unbelievable or rough.
The above being merely some random and ongoing thoughts that need to be made public any and every time I risk doing the occasional web development job.
More updates regarding this particular bit of online work will be forthcoming ...

Digital Content Creation
I'll be posting a blog entry soon listing each and every piece of content creation hardware and software that I own.
This due to the fact that for many years now, the rather fanciful and desperate persons behind the investigation of me have worked overtime to attempt to create a criminal image around myself regarding computers.
This is a delicate situation for one such as myself who depends on computers for his daily and regular work.
Since pedophilia is all the rage these days ... at least among mainstream media networks and the Fear Generation Factory(tm) that seems to dominate major media news, it's somewhat important, considering the nature of the known investigation (assault?) against me that I document any and all of my personal association with computer equipment and especially content creation tools such as digital cameras and otherwise.
A Content/Media Creator
I've been a 'content creator' for many years now.
That is to say, I have been professionally and personally employed in artistic and commercial endeavors involving graphic design, video production and editing and also still shot photography and video shooting.
This is work that is important to me.
For the most part my efforts in the digital and creative realm of video and still image editing and design is limited to my personal projects that I enjoy seeing to simply as an ongoing creative outlet.
Soon to be Published Article
As stated in the beginning of this text, I will be posting an article here listing each and every media creation and manipulation tool that I employ.
I will include cameras, recorders, scanners, burners and any and all computer equipment I currently own.
This will simply be more public statements similar to my Affirmations section of my main website (www.jbhfile.com) which are meant only to possibly pre empt any future attempts to use such equipment against me (planted evidence, etc.)

Recent Online Purchases
Today I arranged an agreement with my father to borrow his credit card for an online purchase.
I've made such arrangements in the past, as you can read on this blog as well as my main website.
I make these semi-regular arrangements due to the fact that I do not have a credit card and many of the hardware purchases I want to make can be found for a much better deal online than local. Of course, these circumstances are based on my paying the money back on a weekly basis (which I am quite astute at seeing to, BTW).
In the past, again, as I've already published, such occurences have and do leave me open to the possibility of set up attempts (wrongful incrimination).
Therefore, any time I borrow a family members card for online purchases, I like to publish the details of the purchases here on my daily blog.

Stalked by a 12 year old!
One thing I've found the investigators never tire of, even more so than believing they can turn rumor and slander into fact via wrongful incrimination and set ups ... is the seemingly unshakable belief that playing out psycho-social tests upon a person who is aware of being the subject of such tests, might still be said to yield scientifically valid data.
If you've read my main website at all (www.jbhfile.com) you'll know that over the past few years I've been witness to several quite notable instances of what could be called psycho-social 'street theater' or public dramas played out around me, and the majority of these skits have been aimed at gathering data regarding my reactions while in proximity to women and especially rather young (10-15yrs) girls.
I mean ... I've made it clear enough ...
I've already published very solid examples of such pedophilic dramatics in my usual and daily work places: The Pre Teen assault squad (witnessed by others), and the Johnson Space Center Pedophile guy (witnessed by others) are a couple which come to mind.

Fun with Buffet's and 11 year olds
Anyway, today, while employed at a family member's business ... and upon having lunch at a certain restaurant in the vicinity of said business ... I experienced circumstances which almost certainly were related to the investigation.
I say this, for the most part, because prior to my leaving with a co-worker for this particular lunch destination, I had spoken quite often that day of my/our intention of dining there, ... leaving those in the area who might be involved with the investigation ample time to formulate some sort of drama.
Regarding the particulars of my experience today:
Said plainly, I was repeatedly followed around a restaurant by a very young girl, even to the point of almost forcibly bumping into me upon one of my trips to the buffet tables.
This was similar to my previously published facts related to the Pre Teen Assault squad witnessed by myself and a fellow co-worker several years ago; follow the link to read more.
Almost on cue
When we (I was dining with a friend) entered the restaurant, and as we approached our table, this young person was immediately walking in front of us, on her way to the buffet area.
I didn't make much of it, except my usual scan of any given public room.
Mind you ... I am more vigilante in this particular neighborhood as this is where many of the previous street theater and psycho-social episodes have been played out.
In fact, this is the very same neighborhood where the whackos in the local sheriff's department installed a C.A.R.E billboard across the street from my employer at the time; follow the link to read more.
After finishing my first plate of quite delicious sushi, I then returned to the buffet area and, almost on cue, as I approached the food area, this same 11 year old (an estimation) also approached the very same area I was visiting.
Again, having had much experience with such antics on the part of the authorities, I simply went about my business and ... well ... simply loaded my plate with food.
Upon returning to my table and as I turned around the end of the particular buffet 'hot table' I was visiting, this little operative (I'd made up my mind at that point) decided to also turn around the opposite end ... and as we passed one another, she looked directly at me. I simply smiled and headed back to my table to join my company.
Why this is Important to Note
These things don't happen often.
I mean to say, I do not go through my days here in Houston, at work or otherwise, thinking that pscycho-social theatrics are being played out at my expense on a daily basis.
I mean, to do so would simply be insane, no?
But, these very real and thematically similar instances of street theatre dramatics associated with the investigation of myself do occasionally occur. The reason for making these events public, as close to the date of their occurrence as possible is this: it is, in a very literal way, a defensive measure on my part.
Considering that one of the methods/tactics of the investigators is false witness testimony to my behaviors in public, this sort of ongoing daily account of noted and exceptional experiences as stated above, could be legally beneficial in the future.
When I say the investigation has and is attempting to use false witness testimony, I mean literally the recruiting of community members to make public reports of supposedly inappropriate social mannerisms on my part(inappropriate attention, made them uncomfortable, staring lewdly, etc.).
Pick any classic symptom exhibited by those truly acting out in an overtly sexual manner (regarding others in public) and you'll know what I mean.
For the record, though ... I just wanted to make a quick note to my blog regarding this recent experience.

If you've read my main website at all (www.jbhfile.com) you'll know that over the past few years I've been witness to several quite notable instances of what could be called psycho-social 'street theater' or public dramas played out around me, and the majority of these skits have been aimed at gathering data regarding my reactions while in proximity to women and especially rather young (10-15yrs) girls.
I mean ... I've made it clear enough ...
I've already published very solid examples of such pedophilic dramatics in my usual and daily work places: The Pre Teen assault squad (witnessed by others), and the Johnson Space Center Pedophile guy (witnessed by others) are a couple which come to mind.

Fun with Buffet's and 11 year olds
Anyway, today, while employed at a family member's business ... and upon having lunch at a certain restaurant in the vicinity of said business ... I experienced circumstances which almost certainly were related to the investigation.
I say this, for the most part, because prior to my leaving with a co-worker for this particular lunch destination, I had spoken quite often that day of my/our intention of dining there, ... leaving those in the area who might be involved with the investigation ample time to formulate some sort of drama.
Regarding the particulars of my experience today:
Said plainly, I was repeatedly followed around a restaurant by a very young girl, even to the point of almost forcibly bumping into me upon one of my trips to the buffet tables.
This was similar to my previously published facts related to the Pre Teen Assault squad witnessed by myself and a fellow co-worker several years ago; follow the link to read more.
Almost on cue
When we (I was dining with a friend) entered the restaurant, and as we approached our table, this young person was immediately walking in front of us, on her way to the buffet area.
I didn't make much of it, except my usual scan of any given public room.
Mind you ... I am more vigilante in this particular neighborhood as this is where many of the previous street theater and psycho-social episodes have been played out.
In fact, this is the very same neighborhood where the whackos in the local sheriff's department installed a C.A.R.E billboard across the street from my employer at the time; follow the link to read more.
After finishing my first plate of quite delicious sushi, I then returned to the buffet area and, almost on cue, as I approached the food area, this same 11 year old (an estimation) also approached the very same area I was visiting.
Again, having had much experience with such antics on the part of the authorities, I simply went about my business and ... well ... simply loaded my plate with food.
Upon returning to my table and as I turned around the end of the particular buffet 'hot table' I was visiting, this little operative (I'd made up my mind at that point) decided to also turn around the opposite end ... and as we passed one another, she looked directly at me. I simply smiled and headed back to my table to join my company.
Why this is Important to Note
These things don't happen often.
I mean to say, I do not go through my days here in Houston, at work or otherwise, thinking that pscycho-social theatrics are being played out at my expense on a daily basis.
I mean, to do so would simply be insane, no?
But, these very real and thematically similar instances of street theatre dramatics associated with the investigation of myself do occasionally occur. The Morning Sobriety Test Trick!
Just a quick little update, something fun to tide you all over until I have the time to publish something truly depressing ...

I had a short conversation with a certain person who has been well acquainted with the investigation against me for some time ... and reported to me by this person was that those involved in the investigation intend to set up a police encounter with me in the morning ... on the way to work, etc. ... where supposedly the officer would want to conduct a sobriety test on me due to "smelling alcohol on my breath."
This is interesting for several reasons.
As I've discussed in various places, the investigation is absolutely committed to using the fact that I had a drug problem as a teenager and was involved in various 12 step programs for some amount of years, as a way of forcing the appearance of my having some sort of chronic addiction now ... this solely so that in a legal setting they could mandate my isolation to some sort of recovery center, half way house, hospital or otherwise; point being, isolate me so that more fun psycho-social antics, in an environment *totally* controlled by the investigators, could be realized.
Also, I've discussed my personal knowledge that many of the informants participating in the investigation, especially those associated with my regular and past social involvement with the Houston coffee house scene, have been gathered from my old, but long standing personal acquaintances from the Houston Alcoholics Anonymous scene.
And finally, according to certain of my confidants, the investigators have truly been pissed off by my publishing of www.jbhfile.com, and especially my public statement within that site, that I would consume at minimum, a single beer every single day as an outward sign of my inward commitment to not only expose the investigation, but to also show my disdain for it's particularly nasty tactics (rumor, slander, planted evidence, covertly drugging me, etc.)
Strict Rules when Drinking
The above considered and since drinking publicly/socially is generally one of the most dangerous things I could do (usually drive myself around), I refrain from such activity almost to a fault.
In other words, I don't go out to bars; I don't drink before knowing I have to drive some place; if I attend a party, work related for instance, I will only have a single beer for as long as I happen to be there.
The risks for possible set ups are far too great to chance.
So, therefore, I generally will have a beer or two (or six!) while chilling at home and after all of my work is done, maybe while watching TV or working on my website ... maybe while reading some of the various hardware forums I'm a member of ... but generally always after 7pm and after I've decided to stay in for the evening.

And, so back to what my friend discussed with me (a friend rather close to my family's ties to the Houston Police, btw) ...
Supposedly, as reported to me by this certain friend ... the local authorities have become enamored with a plan to pull me over in the morning, after a night where I had some beer before sleeping, and then claim that they could smell alcohol on my breath ... even that they would give me a "field sobriety test!"
This done simply as a means of putting substance abuse associated with my person on public record. For all I know, they might try and arrest me ... but that would be a stretch at best.
Mind you ... this would be after I had slept some 7 hours or more, and of course, I would not have drank so much the night previous as to still be shite-faced the following day after 7 hours of sleep.
But, that's not the point ...
Remember, as I've published over and over in my main website (www.jbhfile.com) ... the ultimate goal of the investigation is to relegate me to an environment completely outside of my control, a half-way house, hospital or some other environment dictated by the legal system so that the real goals/desires of the investigators might be met: psychological studies, the satisfying of professional curiousity, the saving of face, more false witness testimony, etc.
To do this, the investigators absolutely must cast me in a public light as one needing direly the assistance of such recovery processes.
And, since I work nearly seven days a week, am constantly in the public eye, am responsible (almost to a fault), friendly and certainly not a drug user or otherwise ... the only recourse the investigators have is to try and force some circumstance which would seem to be associated with my practice of having some beer in the evenings and at home.
In other words, the only thing they could do would be to pull me over some morning while on the way to work ... and say: "Sir ... I detect the smell of alcohol on your breath ... and well, I'm going to need you to step out of the car ..."
And the rest would be public record history ...
...

New Contract Client
As mentioned last month, I have begun work on a contract web site for a company referred to me by an acquaintence.
I expect to have this website done within the next week and published to the companies domain.
As I near completion of this project and especially after launching the site, I will be posting more information to this blog as well as my main website: www.jbhfile.com.
These ongoing updates, even beyond my ultimate 'hand-off' of the project to the client, will continue for some time.
The reason being, that the investigation against me has as a primary objective the eventual legal removal of my rights to use computers and/or networks.

Computer Crime and my role as Web Developer
As I reiterate over and over in my main website, the investigation against me and those organizing it at the local and federal law enforcement level are absolutely determined to force circumstances which make me appear to be someone who uses computers in a criminal fashion.
This is due solely to the fact that the investigators, for some years now, have made rather matter of fact claims to others in the community regarding my character and person. Such claims made by the authorities and to their various informant and community contact groups have been discussed at length with me by several of my long term and trustworty associates from the Houston area.
In short, the authorities seek this end to save face and/or reputation. There is nothing more to the investigation than that.
Anyway ...
The fact that I am allowing myself to engage a client in the efforts of producing for them a web site and the fact that I will be imminently privy to said clients personal web server login/FTP information, makes the need for ongoing and regular public accounts of such work paramount.
In other words, this sort of work leaves me open to any number of types of possible wrongful incrimination attempts, some of which types I've already seen: Hack Setup at previous employer; Credit/Checking fraud involving online porn, etc.

Why a Blog?
Everybody’s reading blogs. I don't, personally. but most persons I run into out there, do.
My main site, www.jbhFILE.com, has been constructed specifically to make public the facts of a local and federal investigation of myself.
I was required to author the site due to the fact that the investigation was using questionable tactics necessary to wrongfully incriminate me and as well tactics designed to portray me as a person suffering from rather cliché' and popular definitions of various types of mental illness.
The primary tactic model used by the investigators is, and has been, tactics congruent to those used by gang stalking operations and vigilante-style community watch groups; the general goal being to induce the outward appearance of a person being mentally ill and/or, a person whose claims of being under investigation should be immediately dismissed as some sort of mental illness or abberation of thought.
That said ...
The history of my circumstances and as well my own legal efforts to prove such circumstances true can be found in great detail at www.jbhFILE.com. I would encourage you to spend much time at that site before expecting to understand anything written in this daily blog.

And, so ... considering I already have a rather extensive website devoted to publishing the facts of my circumstance? Why is a blog necessary?
The answer is that a blog, typically, is a daily account. An overall and mostly loose discussion of daily events as opposed to a clinical and methodically exact account. It's a rant. A commentary or a tirade ... but not necessarily a clinical analysis.
My main site, www.jbhFILE.com, attempts to portray a clinical analysis of past and currently occurring events while this blog will merely record daily events, thoughts and occurences which may, at some later date be incorporated as portions of later exact and factual analysis' made public on jbhFILE.com.
I’m always thinking, always seeing or experiencing something new which may or may not bear creedence to the facts made public in www.jbhFILE.com; a blog is a good way to make those bits and peices of forming material public ... while all the while, making clear, ... these are mostly new thoughts ... these things just happened, i just heard this or saw this and so, i'm not sure what to call it just yet or where to incorporate it in my overall legal efforts ... but thought that it should go on public record nonetheless.
That’s why i'm creating the blog.

Family Member Update
On May 12th, I delivered a three page document to a certain family member that was meant to generally describe my current status in regards to my ongoing efforts to expose an ongoing investigation of myself.
This is a family member who I have updated many times in the distant past; however, as with involving the majority of my direct family members, I have since restricted this person's involvement to a general minimum of one update per year.
The update is necessary now for a number of reasons.
I have posted below, in italics, the contents of this message so as to better make public the unique circumstances of my upcoming weeks which have made an update to family members necessary:

Dear, xxxxxxxx
Just wanted to say a few things via letter regarding my many claims over the past five to six years of having knowledge of an investigation of myself.
As you've probably noticed, I no longer discuss such matters with you (or most other family members) and this is for a couple of reasons:
Number one, I've got a full time website discussing the details of the circumstances, a website built first and foremost to pre-empt any wrongful incrimination attempts upon myself and secondly to document my monthly legal efforts in attempting to prove the investigation actually exists.
Secondly, I honestly feel you don't have the mind to entertain such very real possibilities as my being under investigation for primarily computer related crimes, and therefore have felt more comfortable keeping you out of the loop.
I have, however, regularly updated several of my personal acquaintances and friends and so just wanted to reiterate that all of my previously mentioned (past five years) concerns are still very much legitimately ongoing concerns for me.
This is not to say that such concerns cause me any daily duress, however. And, again, especially since making my awareness of the facts public via my website.
Why a Letter Now?
I'm beginning to do some side web design contract work and frankly, I just want it on record in a number of places that this is the case.
Point being, should I complete this upcoming work and then, should this clients personal website or computer equipment be somehow later compromised via some criminal activity by another, then the obvious starting point insofar as an investigation would be a knock on my door, and perhaps a not too soft one at that.
Anyway, my goal in such a case and my only real defense is to already have public statements such as this in place.
And regarding computers, the Internet and criminal activity:
You don't know much about these things, but the simple version of the explanation is this: when a client asks one such as myself to design a web page for them, they put a great deal of trust in me as a provider of a service.
To complete the work, I will have complete access to the intimate details of their personal "space" on the internet (where their site is 'hosted,' that is); meaning, of course, and at least for the short period of development work I do for them ... I will have access to their passwords and otherwise data necessary for the upkeep of their website.
I of course am quite skilled in such work and have always seen to such with the utmost professionalism and respect and this will be the case in this upcoming work.
Yet, on the flip side of this, and in the wrong hands, such sensitive data can be horribly misused by others for all sort of criminal activity: publishing inappropriate content via their website, hacking other computers online and a host of other sorts of rather common criminal misuses of the Internet.
And, it is quite easy to set up another to seem like the culprit.
That said, I digress.
If it Happened, What Would Authorities Argue?
Regarding the client(s) I intend to do work for in the near future, and should some criminal activity be later attributed to these web sites and my role in them, what would be the explanation?
I mean, as crazy as it might sound to you, still consider the following:
I've written letters such as this, expressing my awareness of an investigation of myself; I have constructed websites to document my legal processes; I've made regular and properly prepared legal requests to federal and local authorities and have even begun a process of verbally transcribing my entire website for archival to a library site on the internet.
So, in the event of my actually being incriminated around some activity involving use of computers or the Internet, how exactly could such supposed criminal activities on my part be explained?
Those involved in the investigation, almost assuredly, would argue some nonsense such as the following:
At my main website (www.jbhfile.com), if you ever care to take time to read, I go to great lengths to make public my knowledge of the investigators desire to create the impression of memory dysfunction ... especially if 'they' can make it look like mental illness or drug/alcohol related.
I know that sounds extreme, far-fetched and unlikely, and having to actually some day entertain any of the above mentioned explanations for some personal incrimination really would be extreme, far fetched and unlikely!
But for the sake of this letter, which is merely meant to be a legally binding public statement, I have to explore such wildest of possibilities, if only as hypothetical.

As I've expressed in the past, I respect the opportunity you provide me insofar as occasional work, even if only a day or two a week.
To be honest ... a day or two is all I could ever handle but nonetheless, I still appreciate you making such opportunity available.

I feel compelled to reiterate this, even though I know you already understand this, due to the fact that over the past few months several new factors have arisen:
As I've mentioned, I keep you out of the loop regarding my efforts to obtain data related to the investigation.
I understand your only recourse is to argue such circumstances away as mental illness or otherwise and, though unfortunate, I believe this is all you possess the ability to truly deem possible.
But, for the record, over the past three years, my efforts to both publicize my awareness of the investigation as well as legally seek proof of the same, have far from diminished. If anything such actions have increased and grown far more mature.
I in fact adhere to a near monthly schedule of letter writing, legal appeals and additions to my various personal web projects in the interest of keeping this personal fight alive and current.
The alternative, frankly, and regardless of your ability to entertain such possibilities as real, would be to allow some event perpetrated against me to result in my having to forfeit my rights to use computers and otherwise be wrongfully incriminated in a manner which would make my own personal sovereignty and freedom forfeit.
Sounds crazy, I know ... and truth is, I don't hold it against you for making fun on certain occasions.
That said and knowing the truth of things, these sorts of occasional, if only yearly when regarding you and others, are necessary.

Just wanted to say a few things via letter regarding my many claims over the past five to six years of having knowledge of an investigation of myself.
As you've probably noticed, I no longer discuss such matters with you (or most other family members) and this is for a couple of reasons:
Number one, I've got a full time website discussing the details of the circumstances, a website built first and foremost to pre-empt any wrongful incrimination attempts upon myself and secondly to document my monthly legal efforts in attempting to prove the investigation actually exists.
Secondly, I honestly feel you don't have the mind to entertain such very real possibilities as my being under investigation for primarily computer related crimes, and therefore have felt more comfortable keeping you out of the loop.
I have, however, regularly updated several of my personal acquaintances and friends and so just wanted to reiterate that all of my previously mentioned (past five years) concerns are still very much legitimately ongoing concerns for me.
This is not to say that such concerns cause me any daily duress, however. And, again, especially since making my awareness of the facts public via my website.
Why a Letter Now?
I'm beginning to do some side web design contract work and frankly, I just want it on record in a number of places that this is the case.
Point being, should I complete this upcoming work and then, should this clients personal website or computer equipment be somehow later compromised via some criminal activity by another, then the obvious starting point insofar as an investigation would be a knock on my door, and perhaps a not too soft one at that.
Anyway, my goal in such a case and my only real defense is to already have public statements such as this in place.
And regarding computers, the Internet and criminal activity:
You don't know much about these things, but the simple version of the explanation is this: when a client asks one such as myself to design a web page for them, they put a great deal of trust in me as a provider of a service.
To complete the work, I will have complete access to the intimate details of their personal "space" on the internet (where their site is 'hosted,' that is); meaning, of course, and at least for the short period of development work I do for them ... I will have access to their passwords and otherwise data necessary for the upkeep of their website.
I of course am quite skilled in such work and have always seen to such with the utmost professionalism and respect and this will be the case in this upcoming work.
Yet, on the flip side of this, and in the wrong hands, such sensitive data can be horribly misused by others for all sort of criminal activity: publishing inappropriate content via their website, hacking other computers online and a host of other sorts of rather common criminal misuses of the Internet.
And, it is quite easy to set up another to seem like the culprit.
That said, I digress.
If it Happened, What Would Authorities Argue?
Regarding the client(s) I intend to do work for in the near future, and should some criminal activity be later attributed to these web sites and my role in them, what would be the explanation?
I mean, as crazy as it might sound to you, still consider the following:
I've written letters such as this, expressing my awareness of an investigation of myself; I have constructed websites to document my legal processes; I've made regular and properly prepared legal requests to federal and local authorities and have even begun a process of verbally transcribing my entire website for archival to a library site on the internet.
So, in the event of my actually being incriminated around some activity involving use of computers or the Internet, how exactly could such supposed criminal activities on my part be explained?

- I did the thing and didn't know it cause I was on drugs or otherwise intoxicated and in a blackout.
- I did the thing and didn't know it cause some biological or otherwise mental illness is to blame; resulting in my (as with the second) doing something I was not conscious of doing.

Oversexualization as a....
You fill in the rest.
This is just a short reminder post, for myself more than anyone else.
This week I'll be fleshing this out (no pun intended) and hopefully will have a new article by the weeks end.
I'll be discussing how the behavioral science sector of the investigation is attempting to create Text Book Instances(tm) of supposedly self evident and/or apparent behavior patterns in my day to day life.
This illusion, of course could include false witness testimony and even planted evidence.
These patterns of behavior, which will or should fit precisely within the investigator's projected and desired outcome to this rather winded ordeal, all have a generally similar nature: such behavior patterns, as is nearly always the rule when discussing popular forensic psychiatry/psychology, will and must have sex and sexuality as a predominant basis.
Apparently, popular forensic psychiatry somewhat idolizes, even diefy's base sexual impulses as the most primal foundation of all potentially violent criminal activity; I only make this somewhat crass statement after having read my fair share of psych journals and forensic psychiatry articles. And, though crass ... it's somewhat accurate.
Furthermore, it's one's childhood years and experiences which popular psychiatry places the emphasis on ... and reportedly, it's experiences in that time frame of a person's life which, according to the popular forensic psychiatrist, can result in a near magical result of having adverse reactions to behaviors as an adult.
Almost like a mathematical equation.
My intention with this developing article is to demonstrate how such poetic license, in regards to the field of forensic psychiatry being able to supposedly predict the behavior of adults subjects based on their childhood experiences, has been and is desired to be used in the ongoing investigation against me.
Anyway ... as mentioned, this is only an article idea at this point ... but it's been on my mind and wanted to get it down here so it wouldn't fall off my screen.

Public Affirmations
This post isn't as fun as some have been of late.
Sorry.
But the fact remains, the investigation (winded as it may be) against me is bent on making matter of fact claims regarding my public persona and character which are simply not true.
This is primarily to stroke egos and to satisfy respective of *their* career outcomes really and in reality has nothing to do with ... well, reality.
That said ... as a matter of course, in the 'Affirmations' section of my main website and domain, jbhFILE.com, I go into rather great detail in my description of what such accusations amount to and as well, my relative, or not, involvement in such.
Read more there, if you care too ... I wouldn't recommend it as enjoyable content, however ... just legally necessary.
Anyway, every two weeks ... every week when I remember, I scan a dated signature as a means of publicly acknowledging my commitment to the truth of such statements.
Like this:
This practice is, of course, meant to be preemptory in regards to the possible types of wrongful incrimination attempts discussed in my main website, jbhFILE.com; see the 'Anatomy of a Setup' section for more reading on that.
The point of the scanned sig attached to my public affirmations pages is really the same, in principle as the publishing of my main website and this blog:
All of these published accounts considered, should any of the types of activities I've ascribed to the investigation's actions against myself actually be played out, then hopefully such circumstances on the authorities part will seem questionable.
I'm suddenly reminded of a semi recent movie wherein a prominent activist against the death penalty suddenly finds himself setup around supposed murder charges and ultimately (if not quite quickly) on death row.
The scene that pops into my head is one in which he is pleading with his legal council (or otherwise) for some sort of support in his claims of being rail-roaded:
"C'mon! I'm the most prominent and long standing activist against the death penalty in the world! Don't you find it just slightly ironic that I'm suddenly on death row?!!"
...
Irony; I guess that's what I'm hoping my defence will be ... and if only a slight one at that.

Fun Video Work ...
In the interest of not bringing too much Doom and Gloom(tm) to the world ... and since the point of this blog and my main website is, arguably and literally, an effort to not have my right to use computers and networks legally removed ...
I thought I'd post a link to some current and fun video compositing I've been working on.
This is very much a work in progress; video work takes an unbelievable amount of time ... but the jist of what I'm trying to do with this simple montage should be self-evident: time capsule ... retrospect, sentiment, etc.

FYI, the use of digital recording devices, be it still cameras or video has been a particularly enticing mechanism to the organizers of the investigation, and specifically in regards to the many and manifold means of using such devices to incriminate a person.

Computer Crime

I have worked in the field of computing, specifically software interface design and corporate intranet development for about 14 years; prior to this and going all the way back to my early twenties, I have been somewhat fanatical about anything related to computers, be it hardware or software.
In my early twenties I began hanging out with several individuals here in houston who were somewhat notorious among my social circles, and even among federal and local law enforcement, as being 'hackers,' and 'pirates.' In other words, these persons regularly took part in the practice of hacking other computers and were regular users, and even distributors, of pirated software. Some of these persons were eventually indicted for such actions.
For the record, and this should be easily verifiable with my social circles at the time, I myself never took part in the hacking of websites, VAX systems, mainframes or anything else hackers, historically, have targeted.
In fact, today even, I would not begin to know how to launch the most basic of offensive attacks from my own computer; that is not to say, however, I am not aware of the nature and details of most of the types of attacks that hackers can make, I simply lack the expertise and software to carry such attacks out.
Furthermore, I have indeed used pirated copies of software in my life, or at least borrowed, but have never been in the business or practice of distributing such.
But it is a fact, that at one time, especially in my early twenties, borrowing software was the number one means by which I learned the basis of any application that today I personally own and am proficient at. This would not be news to anyone who was close to me at that time as I was never shy about discussing my progress in learning any given application.
Howl BBS
During the late 1980's and early 1990's, I was the system administrator and owner of Howl BBS, a very popular Houston-based computer bulletin board system (BBS) dedicated to the rapidly expanding (at the time) culture of hacking and computer networking in general.
Furthermore, Howl was in large part dedicated to the discussion of literary matters and we, on a semi-regular basis, published an electronic magazine ('zine) called, Tamer Shrew. You can follow the provided link to see all such zines produced by those involved with Howl.
Some of the most well known and talented hacks and virii creators in the Houston and Texas area called Howl BBS on a regular basis; there were, as well, many out of state calls.
Howl was split in it's content direction, roughly, between the discussion of subjects related to computer hacking and phone phreaking and, because I was in college for creative writing at the time, all things literary, especially poetry.
This is in large part, why it's absurd that now, in my late 30's, the FBI is claiming to have no records of myself as a person of interest, when I knew for a fact, and based on the testimony of others, that in my early 20's such agencies were regularly survielling and participating in Howl BBS due to it's association with such topics as computer hacking and phone phreaking, not to mention the local authorities who, at that time and considering the infancy of the internet and 'cyber-crime' in general, were sort of in a race with the federal agencies to see who could develop enforcement and investigative protocols the quickest.
Suffice it to say, Howl BBS was high on the list of local Houston boards that factored into both ongoing federal and local law enforcement investigations and, since I built the damn thing and owned the hardware it was run on, it goes without saying that I became a member of that list as well.
The point here is that Howl BBS factors into the investigation as a very real kernal of truth in the agencies efforts towards creating computer crime spin within my current circumstances. Howl was not a criminal bulletin board.
Howl was not used to distribute or otherwise make available the tools with which one could hack or phreak, it simply distributed text based information regarding such practices; furthermore, Howl BBS, to my knowledge and since the BBS software and hardware changed ownership on several occasions, was never employed to distribute illegal software or pornographic material of any kind.
Howl BBS was a great thing. I miss it and those that were members of our brief community … Xann, Nils, and even Homer™, (that bastard!).
Pardon me, I'm getting all misty-eyed.
Porn! / Sexual Deviance
Regarding the claims of the investigators that I am a porn addict or regular consumer of pornographic content, I have the following to say.
I have definitely looked at pornographic magazines, seen porno movies and have seen porn online, and specifically regarding the latter, have even seen sites online which I would have been hard pressed to say were legal or not.
These things have passed my screen, as they have passed many other persons.
Furthermore, I know that the content I have occasionally seen online is not exceptional, as such materials go, because I have made a point to discuss such things, not only with friends and family, but as well with a number of psychological professionals who have, not once, commented that having seen such content online is exceptional in anyway.
In fact, across the board, these persons, friends and professionals alike have confirmed that such experiences are rather normal insofar as online experience goes.
What the investigation contends, however, is that I am a regular user of pornographic content, that I have an obsessive disorder and especially that my tendency is to seek out content that is questionably legal, such as child pornography, bestiality, violent porn, etc., and for the record and stated plainly, this is not true.

Furthermore, I have indeed used pirated copies of software in my life, or at least borrowed, but have never been in the business or practice of distributing such.
But it is a fact, that at one time, especially in my early twenties, borrowing software was the number one means by which I learned the basis of any application that today I personally own and am proficient at. This would not be news to anyone who was close to me at that time as I was never shy about discussing my progress in learning any given application.
Howl BBS
During the late 1980's and early 1990's, I was the system administrator and owner of Howl BBS, a very popular Houston-based computer bulletin board system (BBS) dedicated to the rapidly expanding (at the time) culture of hacking and computer networking in general.
Furthermore, Howl was in large part dedicated to the discussion of literary matters and we, on a semi-regular basis, published an electronic magazine ('zine) called, Tamer Shrew. You can follow the provided link to see all such zines produced by those involved with Howl.
Some of the most well known and talented hacks and virii creators in the Houston and Texas area called Howl BBS on a regular basis; there were, as well, many out of state calls.
Howl was split in it's content direction, roughly, between the discussion of subjects related to computer hacking and phone phreaking and, because I was in college for creative writing at the time, all things literary, especially poetry.
This is in large part, why it's absurd that now, in my late 30's, the FBI is claiming to have no records of myself as a person of interest, when I knew for a fact, and based on the testimony of others, that in my early 20's such agencies were regularly survielling and participating in Howl BBS due to it's association with such topics as computer hacking and phone phreaking, not to mention the local authorities who, at that time and considering the infancy of the internet and 'cyber-crime' in general, were sort of in a race with the federal agencies to see who could develop enforcement and investigative protocols the quickest.
Suffice it to say, Howl BBS was high on the list of local Houston boards that factored into both ongoing federal and local law enforcement investigations and, since I built the damn thing and owned the hardware it was run on, it goes without saying that I became a member of that list as well.
The point here is that Howl BBS factors into the investigation as a very real kernal of truth in the agencies efforts towards creating computer crime spin within my current circumstances. Howl was not a criminal bulletin board.
Howl was not used to distribute or otherwise make available the tools with which one could hack or phreak, it simply distributed text based information regarding such practices; furthermore, Howl BBS, to my knowledge and since the BBS software and hardware changed ownership on several occasions, was never employed to distribute illegal software or pornographic material of any kind.
Howl BBS was a great thing. I miss it and those that were members of our brief community … Xann, Nils, and even Homer™, (that bastard!).

Porn! / Sexual Deviance
Regarding the claims of the investigators that I am a porn addict or regular consumer of pornographic content, I have the following to say.
I have definitely looked at pornographic magazines, seen porno movies and have seen porn online, and specifically regarding the latter, have even seen sites online which I would have been hard pressed to say were legal or not.
These things have passed my screen, as they have passed many other persons.
Furthermore, I know that the content I have occasionally seen online is not exceptional, as such materials go, because I have made a point to discuss such things, not only with friends and family, but as well with a number of psychological professionals who have, not once, commented that having seen such content online is exceptional in anyway.
In fact, across the board, these persons, friends and professionals alike have confirmed that such experiences are rather normal insofar as online experience goes.
What the investigation contends, however, is that I am a regular user of pornographic content, that I have an obsessive disorder and especially that my tendency is to seek out content that is questionably legal, such as child pornography, bestiality, violent porn, etc., and for the record and stated plainly, this is not true.
